İSDEMİR Ore Preparation Unit Modernization and Capacity Increasing Project which has been awarded by İskenderun Iron and Steel Co. to EKON Industry Construction and Trade Inc. on 5 March 2007, has been completed and Provisional Acceptance Certificate has been received on 31 December 2008.

The project covered the design services for mechanical and electrical works and also some parts of the civil works, material and equipment supply, manufacturing and erection works and start up and commissioning works and consisted of the realization of 78 nos of conveyor lines with a total length of 13500 m with capacities varying between 300 ton/h and 3000 ton/h, stacker and reclaimer units, 200000 m3 excavation, 18000 m3 concrete and 1800 tons of steel structure works.
